    You have granted us the opportunity to explore your world as never before. In our travels, give us peace of mind and relief from stress. Open our eyes to the beauty of the earth, so that our spirits may be renewed by your Holy Spirit. 

    For the church

    NT Diocese:

    Pray for the faithful witness to the Gospel being experienced especially by the younger members of the community now attending very regularly. Especially pray for Yulki to keep her strength and health to prepare these younger members.

    Alice Springs Roman Catholic communities:

  • We pray for the Elders of the surrounding Aboriginal communities of Alice Springs; and for their leadership, and that our ears are open to listen to them.
  • Those whose illiteracy inhibits their daily engagement with community.

  • Those local communities on whose land we live work play and pray.
  • Those who look after the resources and fabric of the Church of the Ascension.
  • Those who read the Scriptures during our worship.
  • Those who minister to children and families through Messy Church.
